We’re looking forward to Brad and Kim’s upcoming wedding in the East Valley of the Sun. We had such a nice time meeting with them about their nuptials that they decided to get together beforehand for some Arizona family photography with their kids. As they both have children from previous marriages, it was a great opportunity to witness the healing of broken families during their creation of a new blended one.
We met at The Riparian Preserve At Water Ranch in Gilbert, AZ to begin our photo session. Even though it’s a water conservation and wetland habitats preserve, it just wouldn’t be our home in Arizona without the mighty Saguaro cactus.
We spent a lovely couple of hours getting to know everyone. They got a number of photos as a result, and here are a few more of them.
Cameron Carpenter of 3 Oceans Entertainment was thrilled to be on hand for the 2014 Vision Walk Phoenix in support of the Foundation Fighting Blindness.
First thing Saturday morning they all gathered around.
Channel 5 News showed up (with appropriate rain gear,)
and Paul Horton did the Emcee work.
The poor beauties from the Miss/Mrs Arizona and Scottdale pageants had to endure the rain,
but they “toughed it out” like champs and led everyone in a pre-walk stretch.
Time to start the race, Paul gathers the crowd.
And the start line puts them on the course.
DJ Cameron played lots of inspiring (thumpin’) music and turned it up real loud.
Then they started walking,
and walking some more,
and just a little bit more.
The reason was to raise a lot of money for a great organization, which has an extremely respectable high ratio of money going directly towards the prevention, treatment, and eventual cure of blindness.
CBS 5 was great to be there covering the event with a segment on the morning news.
Especially Paul Horton, who Cameron was honored to work alongside with in support of the Foundation Fighting Blindness.
